Chip, from Disney's animated shorts featuring Chip 'n' Dale, is one half of the mischievous chipmunk duo. He is easily distinguished from Dale by his small, black nose, in contrast to Dale's larger, red nose.

Chip is generally portrayed as the more level-headed and intelligent of the two. He often devises the plans and strategies that the pair employs, frequently involving elaborate schemes, usually aimed at acquiring food or tormenting Donald Duck.
